Bonjour a tous!
I am pleased to announce the opening of enrollment for another round of intermediate French!
Who: Vous, bien sur.
When: Tuesday evenings; May 10- June 7; 5:30-6:45 PM
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN DATES FROM ORIGINAL EMAIL
Where: 266 Main Street, Burlington (Fairpoint Building) Hot beverages included.
What: INTERMEDIATE FRENCH Short Session (5 weeks)
The class will be intermediate and focus on reading, listening, speaking and writing. This is the right class for you if you’ve got a handle on some basic vocabulary and sentence structure, but you’re not 100% comfortable yet with any of the modes of communication (reading, listening, speaking and writing.)
The direction of the class is student-led with teacher suggestions, so you can really target your learning and make progress quickly. The feedback is gentle and I will not ask you to do things you’re not comfortable with. The class happens mostly in French, but all grammar explanations are in English.
About the Intstructor:
Annalisa Parent has almost 20 years’ teaching experience and is a 2015 Vermont Teacher of the Year nominee. She studied French at Middlebury and the University of Paris, and speaks Parisian French. She was chosen for a 2013 5-week research trip and speaking tour in France as a representative of Vermont. Parent is also known to make up silly games, and the participants of this group still laugh about the “cat in the chair” game.
