“I love to write, but I just can’t find the time.”

“I love to write, but I just can’t find the time.”

You’ve heard it before.  You’ve probably said it.  Life is busy and it’s hard to find the time or energy for the things we love.  Having a supportive group to meet with on a regular basis is one way to ensure you’ll make time for you creative self. If your experience is anything like that of the people who participated in-person, not only will writing not feel like one more chore, you’ll be sad if you have to miss the group.

“Some writing groups are just so stuffy.”

To do lists, taxes, grocery store lines– this drudgery of the day-to-day can give us all a curmudgeonly moment or two.  Sometimes it’s hard to break free from that and remember to play,  to remember the joy of creativity and imagination. Getting into that flow is what my writing groups are all about.  Be prepared to laugh.

“I want to be part of your writing group, but it’s so far.”

That’s the magic of these new sessions: They’re all online. No long drives. No parking meters or traffic.  You can write from your own home in the comfort of your jammies and bunny slippers, from your office, even from your car– not while driving, please! All you need is a computer (or phone) with a camera and microphone and you’re set up to go.

Right Way to Write Publish a Book Writing Coach Online

“I don’t want to be the only one who doesn’t know what’s going on.”

We’ll start each session with a discussion of a writing quote or a snippet about creativity.  No studying or homework– just something to ease us into the creative process and get us thinking about the work we do.  The quote will be new to everyone– no head of the class or hand-raising– just time to reflect on our practice and bounce ideas off one another.

Also, because you’re the very first online Inspiration Session, it’s a chance to get in on the ground level where everyone will be new to the experience. Best of all being part of this unique writing community will get you closer to your writing goals.

“I love to write, but I just can’t find the time.”

“How will it work?”

My work as a writing coach is about deep listening. I hear your struggles and understand.  Not only that, I am able to turn that deep listening into actionable steps to transform nebulous inklings into non-stop ink flow– all in an environment where you feel cared for, safe, and have a great time doing it.

For a limited time, you can sign up for an online writing session.  I’ll be offering six sessions in the month of January– all at different times and different days to fit into your busy schedule.  Sign up for one to try it out– or try them all for a special price that I am only offering for this group.
If you’ve watched some of my recent videos, you know a little bit about my story and how I became a writing coach.  I was tired of the negativity or empty feedback in groups I attended.  I wanted a place where writers cared deeply for their own work and for the work of others in the group.  I wanted a method that integrated nearly two decades of research on teaching, learning, creativity and neuroscience. What I’ve developed is the sum total of multiple trainings, classes, hands-on neuroscience lab research– and years of experience teaching, writing, and teaching writing.

These new workshops are the best I’ve ever offered– even better than the teaching that led to a Teacher of the Year nomination here in Vermont.  As I’ve been researching, implementing, and experimenting with techniques and methods, I’ve had great success in my own writing.  Just last month, I received an email that I am a finalist for inclusion in a short story anthology, and I published more poetry in 2015 that I had in all previous years combined.  I’ve been my own guinea pig for this workshop, and I’m telling you: this stuff works.

Here’s what Robert had to say about writing with me:

But you don’t have to believe us! For the month of January, you can try the Online Inspiration Session for an introductory rate of just $13 per session.  Think about it: for less than taking a friend to coffee (at some establishments), you can spark your creativity and get your writing renewed.  And doesn’t your creativity deserve some time on the town?

Isn’t it time you made a date with the muse?

As part of this workshop, you’ll be part of a community of like-minded writers, of getting to know others and becoming known as a writer.  You can join one to try the Online Inspiration Session experience OR you can attend all of the sessions for just $50!  That’s $8 a session to get your creativity flowing.

These online writing groups are not only conveniently accessible from anywhere, you’re going to see your writing soar from your first attendance, just as Shannara and Robert did.  You’ll say goodbye to writer’s block and hello to fingers-flying fun and flow.
I can’t wait to write with you and hear the stories of your writing success.
