The Author Lifestyle

I took a tour of the Hemingway House, where Ernest Hemingway wrote his last three novels. During the tour, I noticed posters around the house.

One poster had President Kennedy citing Hemingway in his book. I was struck by the impact this author had, and thought about the impact authors can have on their readers, the movie industry, even on presidents with their books.

I know many of you who at Write to Publish want an author lifestyle. You want to have readers, and your books made into movies. Maybe you desire to have an impact on presidents or readers of other nations. From speaking with many authors, and with many of you,  I know this is the kind of lifestyle that you want.

Some of you know that I was featured in Reader’s Digest, and had four segments on PBS. How did that happen? It happened with a book. I’m not saying I’m Ernest Hemingway.

What I am saying is that books, the books that you write, create the impact that you want.

Many of you know that’s what we do here at Date with the Muse. We are serious about getting you the author lifestyle. We help writers live that author lifestyle and create the impact they want. The proof is in the pudding. It’s happening everyday; you can see it in the posts in the Write to Publish group.

So if you really want this kind of lifestyle and a successful writing career, let’s talk about where you are, where you want to go, and how you can get there.
