Why You Need More than an Editor to Get Your Novel to Publishable

At this time last year the doorbell rang and the dog started barking and FedEx was in front of my house. This is what happens on a typical day when I get a manuscript from one of my clients. I was so excited about this moment and I wanted to share it with all of you.

One of my clients, Lin, form the Publishing Mastermind had just sent her manuscript to me through the mail. She was in the reading phase of the Publishing Mastermind program. During this phase I read my clients’ entire manuscript.

Why do I do that? Because I want to know where you’re headed so that we can write the very best novel possible.I really stick to what your vision is, what your voice is, and what is important to you. I can’t know that I can’t preserve and keep that integrity intact if I don’t read the whole thing. So this is very exciting.

I had an extensive collection of manuscripts from my clients. I had Aggie who was also in thePublishing Mastermind. I had Peter who was also in the same program and I just recently received Lin’s. So happy reading to me! I was really excited about these three up-and-coming authors getting published

if you’d like to talk with me about how you can get published, I’ve made some space in my calendar in the coming weeks to talk to people who are serious about publishing–and not just publishing but publishing well. We’re talking “Big Five” here people, we’re talking big publishing houses.

So, if you’d like to talk to me about your publishing possibilities I would love to chat with you about where you are where you’d like to go and how you can get there. We’ll get on a call for about an hour and we’ll talk about how you can get to the phase of me reading your manuscript and getting published.

Happy reading to me. Happy writing to you.
