Are You Eating Too Much Junk Food?

Are You Eating Too Much Junk Food?

If you’re a member of a gym, there are a bunch of things you need to do. One of them is to work out, whether lifting weights or running on the treadmill, and I would say 100% across the board you all are great about doing that.

You guys are showing up, reaching your word count, turning in your pages, watching the modules, all important part of the Writing Gym.

However, if I end a full day of exercising by eating at McDonald’s, I won’t really be healthy. I may still lose weight but I am not really healthy.

Our nutrition here at the Writing Gym is the mindset.

You need to ask yourself: what am I feeding my mind? A lot of you are showing up to do the weights and the treadmill, but you are not eating the right diet.

What do I mean by this? Many of you think about your mindset on the day you meet with your personal trainer. However, what ends up being overlooked is the rest of the week.

I can go to the gym several days a week, but then eat junk food after. The only time I adjust my diet is the day when I come to meet my personal trainer. I’m not really thinking about what I’m putting in my body, nor am I living a healthy lifestyle. I see many of you doing the equivalent of this here at the Writing Gym.

I encourage you all to eat a better diet. How? You need a better mindset. You can do this by posting your celebrations–every single day.

A celebration does not need to be a big event. Sometimes a walk can help you get some clarity, a day off can make you refocus, a conversation with someone can give you information about your characters and their mannerisms. These are all victories and should all be celebrated over in Write to Publish

My challenge to you is to eat better, be mindful of your nutrition, and celebrate something–your growth, a positive occurrence–every single day in Write to Publish. I want you to think about how your actions in the Writing Gym today helped you become a better writer.

If you really want the full experience of the Writing Gym, I want you to commit to yourself, to really think about your nutrition and diet that can lead you to a healthier lifestyle.

If you’re ready to start the healthier lifestyle, and by this I mean commit to your writing career, book a call with me. I look forward to talking about where you are and where you’d like to be.
